Create a Virtual Machine in Azure Portal
First, log in to the Azure Portal. Afterward, click Create a Resource and then select Create Virtual Machine. In this step, I will set up the Ubuntu virtual machine inside the Azure Portal. Select the subscription that you plan to purchase or use Azure credits with.
Under the resource group, create a name. In this case, I named it ElkStack. Please note that I cannot add dashes or spaces; it is case-sensitive.
