I wake up to the sunlight streaming through the gaps in the curtains. Glancing outside, I see a bright blue sky dotted with fluffy white clouds drifting lazily overhead. It’s a perfect morning, I think to myself. However, a strong gust of wind whips through the trees, causing their branches to sway violently. Oh yes, it’s pretty windy outside too.
The Cold Breeze
I get up and make a cup of coffee, watching through the window as the wind blows. Leaves and litter tumble along the sidewalk. Despite the sun’s warmth, I know it will feel chilly with that incessant breeze. I take my time finishing my coffee, reluctant to go out into the windy conditions.
My phone calendar reminder that I have an important filming session this morning at a different location. I decided to change the location and not worry about the commute. It made things easier. Also, I did eat the same breakfast as yesterday.
